Vampires are real. I know this because I am one. Not the lean shadowy kind that appears as a hunched silhouette on a staircase come to slay you in your sleep, no. I'm the normal kind of vampire. An average human vampire. The purpose of any life on earth is to provide energy, often in the form of time and money, to the semi-human social machinery that demands our obedience. Some forms of energy are more rare and therefore more valuable. The richest fuel comes in the form of purely felt human emotions, captured and drawn from the victim in the moment of their arousal. Love, hatred, jealousy, joy. This requires a sort of surgical vampiric sense and is often thwarted by imposter emotions that are empty of value. | image @felixdolah
